Quick reference for which size fits who. Kids, teens, adults, and the sweet spots in between.
Guitars are measured by the distance from the tip of the headstock to the bottom of the body. A too-big guitar makes chords hard, hurts your back, and makes practice feel like work. A well-fitted guitar disappears — you stop noticing it and start playing.

Sit down. Rest the guitar on your thigh. If your shoulder hunches up to reach the first fret, size down. If your arm is fully stretched, also size down.
