Warranty Policy
Coverage at a glance
- Pure acoustic guitars: No warranty. All sales are final unless the item is genuinely defective (see below).
- Electronic items (acoustic-electric guitars, electric guitars, amplifiers, pedals, and other powered gear): 3-month limited warranty for manufacturing defects, from the date of delivery.
- Accessories and consumables (strings, picks, straps, cables, cases, stands, capos, etc.): No warranty.
What is covered (electronics only)
Genuine manufacturing defects that appear under normal use within 3 months of delivery — for example, dead electronics, pickup failure, or unreasonable structural issues present from new.
What is NOT covered
- Change of mind — we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds if you simply change your mind, dislike the tone, or no longer want the item.
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic marks, fret wear, finish checking, or adjustments needed from regular playing.
- Damage from drops, mishandling, spills, extreme temperature or humidity, improper storage, or unauthorised repairs and modifications.
- Items purchased on clearance, "as-is", or with disclosed defects at time of purchase.
If your electronic item is defective
- Contact us first. Email [email protected] or WhatsApp +65 8925 2625 within the warranty period. Include your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photos or a short video where possible.
- We troubleshoot together. Many issues can be resolved with setup guidance, a battery change, or a small part replacement. We always try to solve the issue first.
- If it is a genuine defect and the fault is ours, we will arrange an exchange with an equivalent unit — this is our preferred resolution.
- A refund is offered only as a last resort, where exchange is not possible (for example, the model is discontinued).
Claims process
All claims require proof of purchase. Items must be returned in the same condition as reported, with all accessories and original packaging where possible. Sage Guitar will inspect the item before approving a claim. Return shipping for approved defect claims is at our cost; items found not to be defective may be returned to you at your cost.
No change of mind
Please be sure before you buy. Because we cannot resell opened instruments as new, we do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, dislike of tone or appearance, or buyer's remorse.
